{ Tequila Balls }

Ingredients: 

     3 cups finely crushed vanilla wafers (about 60 cookies) 

     2 cups powdered sugar

     1 cup finely chopped almonds, pecans or walnuts

     1/2 cup of Jose Cuervo Gold tequila

     2 shots margarita mix (optional, but tastes great )

     1/4 cup light corn syrup 

     Granulated or powdered sugar to roll them in
 

1.  Mix crushed wafers, powdered sugar and nuts in large bowl. 

2.  Stir in Tequila and corn syrup. 

3.  Shape mixture into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar.

4.  Cover tightly and refrigerate for 3 days before serving  to blend all the flavors.
